Reduced Switch Multilevel Inverter Topologies for Renewable Energy Sources

This article proposes two generalized multilevel inverter configurations that reduce the number of switching devices, isolated DC sources, and total standing voltage on power switches, making them suitable for renewable energy sources. The main topology is a handles sources by ten switches to create twenty-five levels. Based proposed inverters are introduced indicate flexibility in designing also minimize elements. optimal topologies both extensive derived from different design objectives such as minimizing elements (gate drivers, sources), achieving large levels, voltage. advantages reduced than other based comparison studies which performed among topologies. loss analysis standalone PV application discussed. experimental results presented demonstrate correct operation proposal.
